Cancellation and Refund Policy
Security Deposit
From 6 to 20 passengers: A 10% non-refundable deposit is required within
one week of booking the cruise.
More than 20: A 10% non-refundable deposit is required within one week
of booking the cruise.
The security deposit is to guarantee your booking. Without this deposit, your cruise
cannot be confirmed and your seats may be allocated to other groups.
Final Payment & Confirmation of Numbers
Up to 20 passengers: Final payment is due one week prior to cruise.
More than 20: Final payment is due two weeks prior to cruise.
Cancellation or Changing Passenger Numbers.
Less than 6 passengers:
If 24 hours notice is given, no cancellation fees apply.
From 6 to 20: With one week's notice, full refund given less security deposit. Less
than one week's notice will attract a 50% cancellation fee.
More than 20: Two weeks' notice, full refund given less security deposit. Less than two weeks' notice will
attract a 50% cancellation fee.
For groups of six or more, Captain Cook Cruises will allow full refunds if:
- The booking changes by no more than 10%, and
- Captain Cook is notified 24 hours or more in advance.
IN ALL CASES NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR 'NO SHOWS'
- All postponed cruises are treated as cancellations.
- Refunds can only be issued to the person or company that made the booking and payment.
- Individual payments will not be accepted for groups of 6 or more.
Group Discount Rates
Where
a price that is lower than Captain Cook Cruises' standard price is quoted for a
group, if the number of people attending falls below the quota for a group discount,
Captain Cook reserves the right to increase the price to the rate applicable to
the number of people traveling.
