The Swan River has long been noted for its beauty. Interestingly, it is also known to be one of the oldest rivers in the world, having maintained its current course for millions of years. Meandering down through the Darling Ranges and continuing through the Swan Valley, the Swan covers approximately 300 kms before flowing into the sea at Fremantle.
